You will lose the ability to think for yourself. Your world will revolve around that person: your actions, your thoughts, your smiles, and your tears will all be controlled by that person. Loving someone (as a family member, a friend and/or a lover) does not involve obsession, a form of absolute dependancy, and does not involve any form of psychological need associated with that person.
What is love then?
Love is trust; love is space; love is forgiving; love is permanent; love is best friends for life; love is a connection: it is like a lock and key. The lock represents one person’s heart; the key, another person’s heart. This means that true love — real love — can only be reserved for few, if not one, people. This means that love is special.
Love is not just a feeling, and certainly not when your something turns into your everything.
Why would you want to become dependant on someone?
